1319 buttonwood St. Philadelphia  3-story building located in the CMX-4 zoning district needs to be converted from an old vacant building into a single-family home. While CMX-4 allows for multi-family dwellings, a single-family residence is not permitted per the Philadelphia Zoning code, so an appeal was filed with the Zoning Board of Adjustment. As part of the preparation for that hearing to allow a variance, Wiedenman Architecture presented to the local Registered Community Organization in July 2016. After the presentation, the members of the community in attendance at the RCO meeting unanimously voted to support the project.
