Kelly Music for Life, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports music education, community, culture and the arts, as well as produces and promotes music and art events to benefit the community. Recently, they acquired a storefront in the center of Havertown to create the Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community. The planned Kelly Center will provide a year-round home to Music and Arts Programs for people of all ages. We were thrilled to be selected to work on their storefront as we are dedicated to improving our community. It is exciting to work on a property on our block and contribute to making Eagle Road the place to be in Havertown! Some features of The Kelly Center, known as “green” features, include a plant wall, an energy efficient storefront system, speakers and lights that are solar powered, a system to harvest rainwater and refurbishment of the 100 year old floors. We are so glad to have been a part of this project and congratulate Kelly Music for Life, Inc. on an amazing renovation. The Kelly Center’s first show is next Friday at 7:30 pm! Check out their website for more details at https://kellymusicforlife.org/ and hopefully you can make it!
Mickey has been a member of the Wiedenman architecture team for slightly over a year and acts in the role of emotional support dog. He has one of the most important jobs in the office, every so often he makes his way around to everyone for a nice petting to boost morale. He is extremely good at his job and continually makes everyone smile. Some of his passions include but are not limited to running around the office, chewing on his bone, barking at passersby, and lounging at various work areas. We couldn’t be happier to have mickey in the office with us every day and look forward to the many years to come with him.

This single family home in Penn Valley had a previous addition, enclosing the garage and adding it as living space (pictured in the before photo). However, the homeowners desired more space, and so a 2-story addition was added onto the side, along with renovations of the 2nd story above the previous addition to make better use of the existing space.
The first floor addition includes renovated and expanded kitchen and breakfast area a large family room and a new mud room and covered porch. The second floor addition added a 4th bedroom to the home.
Construction to be finished in the fall of 2016
